The Brief
A second part of the speculative design project, Sensible Objects, Fragment.menot imagines a future in which cloud memory has seized & memory has been made into a commodity. This speculative website is the only web platform in which memories are captured & sold openly.
In the LCC studio, I tried to imagine the materials that would be used to materialize memory.
I wanted to create this project in the context that our memories no longer belong to us as everything we upload onto the cloud currently is managed by a central company, vulnerable to crashes, as the social media platforms used to share our memories make us agree to violating terms & conditions.
The terms & conditions listed on the Fragment.menot website lists some of those terms used today.
